Last TCRCC Meeting before Fair

Thursday, August 3rd at the Tillamook PUD Building Carl Rawe meeting room (just inside the rear door) located at 1115 Pacific Avenue (Hwy 101 North) in Tillamook. The business meeting will start at 7:PM. Light refreshments will be provided by the Chair. All Tillamook County Conservatives welcome.

This will be the last meeting before the Fair starts on Wednesday the 9^th. Give some thought as to when you will be able to help in our booth & let Joe, Cliff or Everett know your intentions. Our finances are marginal this year so if anyone can afford a $20 or $50 bill to help defray our expenses at the Fair please contact Joe or Diane as soon as possible.
The Fair is our very best opportunity to express our Conservative ideals

to the county community. This last legislative session was a Conservative ideological disaster. The Senate, House and Governor majorities forced every progressive tax, spend, anti-life and anti-firearm agenda item they could get away with, while ignoring PERS reform as well as reasonable spending limits. Our state bureaucracy is bloated & inefficient. We need to hammer these facts to our constituencies at the Fair. Talk, as they say is cheap. We need money to help elect new legislative leaders. When tending the booth this year, do not be afraid to ask for a $50 or $100 donation to help electing Conservatives to state office. If you find someone who agrees that state government needs a change, relate that we can’t do it by ourselves. We need their help and especially their money. Make sure that you get a mailing address as well as their E-Mail with their check. We are regulated by the Secretary of State’s Orestar Oregon Administrative Rules regarding campaign finances which are publicly available.

The ORP Platform convention will be held in Bend this year on October 26th, 27^th & 28^th. The Tillamook delegation is allowed 1 additional delegate that we need to vote on at this August meeting to present to the ORP Secretary by September 1^st. If you’d like a copy of the draft agenda to this convention, let me know.

I hope everyone has been enjoying the weather this summer. We are truly blessed to live in such a beautiful coastal environment. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone on August 3^rd.
