March 4th went well

The March 4th gathering pointed out a couple of thing.  First a group of Americans can gather with out name calling, or hate speech of any kind.  Secondly there was NO violence or property damage of any kind and Thirdly it was pro American and Pro GOD.

TCRCC March 2 Meeting

at the Tillamook PUD Building Carl Rawe meeting room (just inside the rear door) located at 1115 Pacific Avenue (Hwy 101 North) in Tillamook.  The business meeting will start at 7PM.  Light refreshments will be provided by the Chair.

The legislative session (or silly season if you will) is in full swing and the usual number of progressive-liberal-feel good bills have hit the deck; along with outrageous tax & spend as well as just plain dumb, stupid out in LEFT field ridiculous bills.  I’ll have a report of several that bear watching and interacting with our legislators about.

The 51st annual Dorchester Conference will be held in Salem (first time in Salem) March 3rd & 4th at the Salem Convention Center in downtown Salem.  Last year was the first time I’ve attended the Dorchester & had several stimulating Conservative discussions with attendees.  If you are interested in attending, check out their web sitehttp://www.dorchester.org/.   Continue reading

Trump Asks Comedian Steve Harvey to Assist Administration

Actor, comedian, and Family Feud host Steve Harvey met with President-elect Donald Trump on Friday at Trump Tower in Manhattan.

“I stepped from behind my microphone and I came and talked to the guy who is going to be the 45th president,” Harvey told reporters about his meeting with Trump, whom he said he found “both congenial and sincere.”

“Trump wants to help with the situations in the inner cities so he immediately got Dr. Ben Carson on the phone to put us together to begin dialog in looking at programs and housing to help our inner cities and he’s very open to my mentoring efforts across the country,” Harvey said.

“I walked away feeling like I had just talked with a man who genuinely wants to make a difference in this area,” he added. “I feel that something really great could come out of this… I would sit with him anytime.”

Though Harvey had openly endorsed Hillary, Trump has called on him to assist in the betterment of the inner city, once again proving that Trump is less about partisan politics and more about fixing problems.

Like him or hate him, Trump is doing more before he has become president than most do while holding the office.  Article posted with permission from Constitution.com
